Looking for a Safe, Non Surgical, Drug Free, All Natural Permanent Weight Loss Program?

Tired about hearing pitches about losing weight with Magic Diet Pills, Packaged Foods, Gastric Bypass Surgery, Drug Hormones, No Exercise Needed weight loss programs? Think they are too good to be true? They are! Looking for something with no gimmicks or empty promises... based on real science that will last a lifetime...then read on!

Most rapid physician weight loss programs are based on increasing your metabolism through the use of stimulants such as caffeine, medications and appetite suppressants that have numerous side effects such as heart palpitations, cold sweats, feelings of nervousness and anxiety to name a few. These programs involve unnatural rapid weight loss using synthetic drugs and appetite suppressants or drug hormones or even surgery. Virtually all these programs do not include a supervised exercise program to naturally boost your metabolism and provide unique cardio conditioning that will ensure a natural healthy lifestyle. Very few offer any type of maintenance programs which is a critical element so you don't end up on a yo-yo on and off weight loss programs the rest of your life.

Lose Weight the Right Way and Keep it Off

During any one year, more than half of all Americans go on a diet to lose weight. More than 30% of Americans are classified as clinically obese while almost 60% of all Americans are classified as overweight. For many people who want to be more healthy and lose weight, it is difficult to lose more than a few pounds, and few succeed in remaining at the reduced weight. Losing weight and keeping it off is not easy to do!

That's why our highly trained staff of medical professionals at Spine & Sport have designed the most unique comprehensive all natural, non surgical, non invasive, drug free weight loss program available today to help you change your life forever!

Being overweight is too often viewed as a temporary problem that can be treated for a few months. However, as most overweight people know, weight control must be considered a lifelong effort. To be safe and effective, any weight loss program must address the long-term approach or else the program is largely a waste of money and effort.

The key is to keep you highly motivated to decrease the amount of calories you eat through proper nutrition and understanding your specific metabolism and increasing the amount of calories you burn through high tech exercise. That combination is the most healthy and natural way to keep the weigh off once you lose it. We want to help you not only lose weight but to make a lifestyle change that can add years to your life, improve your self confidence, energy and quality of life.

The Key is Your Metabolism

The key to weight loss is to burn more calories than are consumed. To lose weight, you must eat fewer calories that you expend. Period. End of story. Consequently, understanding how many calories a person burns at his current weight (which determines how many calories a client needs to reduce to lose weight) is at the foundation of any successful weight loss program. We can identify exactly how many calories you burn.

But, how much does an individual need to cut back to actually lose weight? We at Spine & Sport have the expertise and technology to guide you to determine your precise metabolic needs so you learn how many calories you can consume and still lose weight.

When it comes to weight loss, there is no such thing as "one size fits all." Each person's metabolism is different based on genetics, eating habits, and fitness level. Each person gains weight for a variety of physical, emotional, and environmental factors. We test you and generate specific data about your metabolism then we customize a plan fit just for you.

The Spine & Sport Weight Loss program will specify the number of daily calories necessary for comfortable weight loss and a specific exercise regimen. We provide precise metabolic testing for each client to determine your metabolic rate and the impact of body composition, exercise, and diet during the course of a weight loss regimen. Assessing the success of individual weight loss strategies can be accomplished by re-testing metabolic rate over the course of a program with measurements that are unique to them and their own bodies.

Your Metabolic Rate

Testing a person's metabolic rate will determine exactly how many calories they need to cut to lose weight. The only way to really know if someone is burning fat is to test their metabolism. Continued testing helps motivate them to keep burning fat and guides them to achieve their weight loss goal.

A simple 10-minute breathing test we administer can measure your metabolic rate using the same method used in leading research hospitals. This test will determine how many calories you burn at rest. Add to that VO2 testing to create a workout that maximizes fat burning, and you just can't lose. It will also tell if a client's metabolic rate is fast or slow, how many calories you need to consume to achieve weight loss goals or maintain present weight, and how much the diet program we have suggested has changed your metabolic rate.

State-of-the-Art High-Tech Exercise Equipment

We customize your exercise program based on personal goals as well as on your individual capabilities. The distribution of fat in the body affects the risks associated with obesity, and exercise is one of the few factors that reduces central body fat so it is critical to your long term success in maintaining your weight loss and maintaining your health.

To help burn more calories through exercise we provide our clients with state-of-the-art fitness and exercise equipment from Europe designed to help you engage in safe exercise while motivating you to burn calories. This high-tech approach offers unique training sessions that provide the greatest results in the shortest amount of time. The most important element is to think long-term and make exercise a permanent part of your life.

Nutrition Guidance

We don't believe in weight loss programs that are based on pre-packaged meals or "diet" food. We don't believe in forcing you to buy the "special food" you need to lose weight. Our program teaches you to eat fresh, nutritious food which is easily available at your local supermarket.

Our nutritional experts help you get the proper amount of protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, and essential vitamins and mineral that your body needs, specific to each program. We also offer highly specialized nutritional protein supplements designed to help protect important lean muscle mass while you lose weight. Our exclusive, carefully selected food menus are designed with years of experience to help maximize weight loss and nutrition and help give you the healthiest, best looking body ever.

A Complete and Comprehensive Program

We take great pride in delivering a comprehensive, medically supervised and effective natural weight loss program for each of our clients. This begins with our medical team who all offer careful monitoring throughout your program to help assure you of sensible and effective weight loss. Key factors that make our weight loss program unique:

  • Our staff consists of qualified counselors, health professionals, physiologists and personal trainers.
  • Weight loss goals are set together with both the client and physician so realistic expectations can be met.
  • Over 95% of our patients complete the program.
  • Our patient's average weight loss for our initial program is between 20 lbs and 60 lbs

Scientific Results

We utilize pre-diet testing, comprehensive blood analysis and individualized patient evaluation because we realize that not all diets work the same for everyone. This process consists of a medical questionnaire, a comprehensive weight loss history, and a goal sheet, which evaluates where you are at with your current weight, body measurements and body fat, and where you want to be at the end of your program. We want to ensure success with each and every patient and want you to become one of Spine & Sport Rehab Institutes next success stories.

Spine & Sport Weight Loss Program Questions and Answers:

Q: Why is it important to monitor body fat percentage to determine your Fitness level?

A: Measuring weight alone is not a completely accurate assessment of health or fitness because it doesn't distinguish pounds that come from fat and pounds that come from lean muscle mass. Everyone needs some body fat, but too much fat results in obesity--one of the most important public health issues in the United States. According to new federal guidelines, more than half of the US adult population are overweight or obese, and one out of four children and adolescents is too fat.

Q: Are there any illnesses directly linked to obesity?

A: Obesity is directly linked with Diabetes Type II and hypertension, and is a contributing risk factor for many other conditions including heart disease, sleep disorders, arthritis, gall bladder disease, stroke, and several forms of cancer. Awareness and monitoring of body fat percentage can be a motivational tool for a fitness or weight management program. Additionally, with any chronic degenerative disease, monitoring body fat and lean body mass is critical to evaluation, treatment, and management of the condition. This information is helpful in determining a suitable exercise and nutritional program on an individual basis.

Q: How do you determine my body fat?

A: We utilize technology from Tanita Corporation that uses it's own proprietary method of Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). Bioelectrical impedance analysis uses a very small electrical signal to measure body impedance. The signal is conducted through the water contained in the body. Lean muscle has much more water than fat tissue and allows the signal to pass easily. Fat causes impedance or resistance to the signal.

In order to determine body fat, an estimate is made from know measurements. Tanita uses the variables: height, weight and impedance to determine body fat percentage. These variables are used in a highly researched, proprietary formula to make body fat assessments based on the National population of 18 and over body fat percentage standards. If any of the variables are changed, the resulting body fat reading will also change.

Conventional Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis methods are accurate, though not as convenient as the Tanita BIA method. Most conventional BIA manufacturers use hydrostatic weighing as the reference method.

Q: How accurate and reliable are the Tanita Body Fat Monitor and Scales we utilize?

A: Independent research at several major universities (including Columbia University in New York City) has confirmed that in clinical settings, the Tanita Body Fat Monitor is accurate within +/- 5 percentage of the institutional standard of body composition analysis--Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA). Tanita believes its method to be the most convenient and accessible to accurately predict body composition. Tanita's Body Fat Monitor Series results are repeatable to within +/- 1 percent variation when used under consistent conditions.

Q: How do you distinguish the difference in body fat with Athletes?

A: The Athlete mode was developed by Tanita to provide a more accurate reading for athletic body types. Athletic body types are physiologically different than standard adult body types, due to muscle mass and hydration level differences. Athletes tend to have greater muscle mass and tend to be more dehydrated. These differences would skew the body fat reading high, when taken with the standard Adult mode.

  • » Tanita defines "athlete" as a person involved in intense physical activity of approximately 10 hours per week and who has a resting heart rate of approximately 60 beats per minute or less.

  • » Tanita's athlete definition includes "lifetime of fitness" individuals who have been fit for years but currently exercise less than 10 hours per week. Tanita's athlete definition does not include "enthusiastic beginners" who are making a real commitment to exercising at least 10 hours per week but whose bodies have not yet changed to require the Athlete mode.

Q: Is the Body Fat monitor safe to use for women who are pregnant?

A: There is no known health risks associated with pregnant woman using the Tanita Body Fat Monitor/Scales. Since research has not been done on this population extensively we advise women who are pregnant to use the Body Fat Monitors for weight purposes only. Since there are dynamic physiological changes that occur during pregnancy, a pregnant woman cannot expect an accurate body fat reading. Since obtaining an accurate reading during pregnancy is not possible, it would not be recommended to monitor your body fat until after delivery.

Q: Is the Body Fat Monitor safe to use if you have a medical device or implant?

A: Persons with pacemakers or other electronic medical implants should not use the monitor. Persons with non-electronic medical implants may safely use the monitor. Any metallic implant in your body could affect the body fat reading, giving a slightly lower than normal reading. However, since the metal will continue to have the same affect on the reading each time you use the monitor; you can still use the monitor to successfully track the relative change in body fat over time.

Q: Are the Body Fat Monitors intended for Body Builders or professional athletes? Who is considered an athlete vs. standard adult?

A: If you are an adult who has approximately 10 hours of intense physical activity and have a resting heart rate of approximately 60 beats per minute or less, we will recommend using the Athlete Mode. Tanita uses a mathematical formula to determine body fat percentage based upon these variables: height, weight, gender, age group and resistance (impedance). The Athlete Mode uses a mathematical formula that is different than that used in the Adult Mode. The Athlete Mode was designed through population studies of individuals meeting the above criteria.
  • » At this time, populations of professional athletes and body builders have not been studied to establish a separate mode for this unique group. Professional athletes and body builders are advised that since the models have not been designed with them specifically in mind, they may obtain a higher than normal body fat reading. Despite this fact, many of these elite athletes have used the Tanita Body Fat Monitor/Scales successfully to gauge their progress of losing body fat. The great repeatability of the product enables one to establish a baseline and use the product for "trending purposes" to assess loss or gain in body fat over time.

Q: What can be done to determine body fat baselines for teenage and college students under 21?

A: Our latest breakthrough Tanita device now includes body fat ranges for children and new Healthy Range Indicators which automatically compare several key measurements to their respective healthy range. Print out total body composition readings including: Weight, Fat %, Fat Mass, Total Body Water, Muscle Mass, Basal Metabolic Rate, Bone Mass, a unique Visceral Fat indicator, Body Mass Index, and much more. The Wrestler Mode option helps determine a wrestler's minimum wrestling weight based on established guidelines. This model is preset with both Collegiate and High School minimum National body fat percentile standards.

Q: What is BMR & DCI?

A: Basal Metabolic Rate is the minimum level of energy need at rest to function effectively. A person with a high BMR can burn more calories at rest than a person with a low BMR. BMR is based on the level of muscle mass. Daily Caloric Intake is the amount of calories you can consume within 24 hours and still maintain your current weight.
